Acrylic Balls, provide good hardness, transparency, abrasion and outdoor resistance. PMMA acrylic balls are a lightweight alternative to glass balls and have acceptable mechanical characteristics, shock resistance, and corrosion resistance. Over time, acrylic balls retain their clarity. They are more durable than polycarbonate balls for outdoor use because they are scratch and UV resistant.

Corrosion Resistance:
Excellent resistance to diluted inorganic acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, ammonia, alkalis, greases, and oils; however, balls are not resistant to aromatic hydrocarbons, halogens, ketones, esters, ethyl, or methyl alcohols.
Application:
Check valves, visual flow meters, lab apparatus, and contact juggling all employ acrylic balls. They could be viewed as a more affordable and lightweight alternative to polycarbonate.
