Polypropylene balls have a low weight, good mechanical properties, and resistance to corrosion, fatigue, and impacts. They have good electrical insulating properties and are heat resistant. They are submerging while floating. To prevent deterioration events brought on by prolonged exposure to sunlight, additives might be added (UV radiation absorption).

Corrosion Resistance:
Polypropylene balls are resistant to most inorganic substances as well as weak acids, alkalis, alcohols, oils, and greases. They have a moderate resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons but are not resistant to halogens. Even in the presence of strong acids and oxidizing agents at high temperatures, they produce corrosive effects.
Application:
Low load bearings, special valves, check valves, floating valves, fluid level indicators, flow meters, chemical, medical and laboratory devices, blood transfusion kits.
